Filtertec Systems Ltd offer complete in-house design and engineering services including filter design, prototyping, manufacturing and filter testing for projects of all sizes and complexities. Our experienced product development team CAD (SolidWorks), solid modelling, rapid prototyping and other tools.
Our design team pride themselves on providing quick and innovative solutions for unique and hard to solve filtration applications.
LABORATORY SERVICES
Our manufacturing site in Hadleigh, Suffolk is home to our own, well equipped laboratory suite. Our multidisciplinary laboratory is run by scientists and engineers committed to the proactive practical technical support of our products and our customers. Our capabilities include:
ï Laboratory scale testing for continuous process improvement
ïFilter efficiency testing. Modified OSU-F2 testing and other techniques to establish the absolute micron rating, flow/∆P characteristics and dirt holding capacity for a filter element.
• Integrity testing. To evaluate the structure and integrity of a filter element using bubble point or diffusion flow techniques.
• Process Simulation
• Chemical compatibility
• Analysis of used or sample filters to aid filtration system design
• Particle counting. Using PMS Liquilaz laser particle counters, either in-line or on syringe samplers,
We can analyse customer supplied samples to determine particle distribution and optimise filtration stages.
We have the following particle counters:
S02 (0.2 to 2.0 micron), S05 (0.5 to 20 micron), E20 (2 to 120 micron)
